More Powerful “Safe Chat” measures implemented

Lateral has stepped up it’s Chat service safety and surveillance measures, with more advanced moderation / administration interfaces. In particular we have implemented powerful on demand analysis tools, which can extract a full transcript history of any problem user, within minutes, should an operator or the authorities require it. This is increasingly important as more young people are buying cell phones. Lateral has been maintaining a “Safe Chat” policy with advanced user logging, monitoring tools and escalation procedures since 2000. The latest developments puts the right information at the finger tips of our administrators.

“News that Microsoft has had Safety issue with it’s Chat service and has decided to shut them down has raised the visibility of safety issues. The amount of resource effort we have been expending on providing Safe Chat services is somewhat vindicated by Microsoft’s plight.” -Roger Grice
