Version 4 of The Lateral Mobile Community is released
Version 4 represents a significant advance in mobile community services. Not only is the user functionality and user experience considerably enhanced, but also the user safety systems have been further strengthened.
Chat 4 has been developed to deliver rich content to the latest handsets, particularly 3G, while also accommodating older interfaces and SMS users. Sophisticated handset detection systems ensure the correct user experience is delivered to each user. The handset detection also picks up the users’ mobile operator, any branding partners’ details, and user defined settings. This highly personalised approach is essential for mobile operators, media partners and brand partners who wish to build an on-line community with “anywhere – anytime” access.
The rich interface provides advanced features such as picture profiles, buddy and notification lists, user ratings, and emoticons.
Version 4 is the latest major upgrade in a product, which was developed originally in 1999, and has set the standard for functional, fun and safe mobile user communities.
